Leader of the militant Islamic sect, Ahlan Sunnah Lid Da'waati wal Jihad Yaanaa, popularly known as Boko Haram, has broken his silence and revealed why his organisation has continued to attack government agencies and Christians in the country. I received this on my blackberry that the Group Managing Director Public Relations - Dr Levi Ajuonuma resigned today from his position in NNPC, although I didn't hear from other news agency stating this to be true and personally I had a bit of trouble accepting the authenticity of this report because from the message circulating on blackberry, Dr Levi seemed to have signed off with a different signature, using GMD corporate affairs, may be am not current enough but I thought he was the Group Managing Director Public Relations and not Corporate Affairs. Federal Government has directed all federal civil servants to report to work as from Wednesday. The Head of Service of the Federation, Alhaji Bello Sali, who gave the directive in Abuja, today, said security officers had been deployed to the various government offices to ensure their security. He said government had discovered that many civil servants could not report for work due to lack of transport and, therefore, directed that the various Ministries, Departments and Agencies to provide staff buses for the transportation of workers to and from work. It was also learnt that some government agencies had opened fresh attendance registers with a view to punishing workers who failed to report for work.
