TRANSLATION OF THE BOKO HARAM VIDEO MESSAGE TO MR. PRESIDENT RELEASED YESTERDAY.

I wanted so know exactly what the Boko Haram leader "shekau" was saying in the video released yesterday, so I begged a friend to help me translate the video which he did and sent to me through facebook. The following is the translated message as contained on the video, well most of it.

"Well it was a pretty long video but I just summarised it. Its not a threat like saying they are targets but rather after the threat he calls for them to 'repent'. He says they have been victims of attacks from d government and Christians for a very long time and their actions are just retaliatory cos of all dat has been done to them in the past. There is mention at some point about the futility of any actions by the government to clamp them down as a battle against their god cannot be won. In addition the bit about jihad is cos he was trying to buttress his point about fighting not for themselves but their god, thus they are pleased to loose their life in battle cos of the reward of bliss in eternity dat such death offers. As such he boasts about wishing for death in battle as nothing can be more glorifying. Strangely he makes no mention of a 3 day ultimatum to Christians living in the Northern part of the country to evacuate. Such a statement was rumoured to have been made a while back and it caused a lot of panic. However despite not giving such an ultimatum, Christians are still potential targets because of their refusal to 'repent and accept the tenets of the Holy Book'

@ Nedu I am sure a line by line translation will soon be out on youtube so not to worry U will get a more detailed account of d dude's rant. I listened to it just once so I am sure I missed out a few parts. I hope this video gets to the hands of the right authorities and I hope it is taken seriously".

H&M Winter Lookbook

Her neyse yeni koleksiyonlar beni neşelendirmeye yetti :) Bu yazı tüm sonbahar sevmeyenler için gelsiiin :D Fall and winter are coming slowly, I heard that it will be rainy tomorrow in İstanbul. This year I made a difference and didn't complain about fall - for the ones who don't know I hate rain and fall from seasons. Maybe because of the new collections :) And I send this post to people who don't like fall all around the world :D       Neyse ki karaları bağlamıyoruz, yine rengarenk giyinmeye devam edebiliriz. Kıyafetlerin kesimleri hatları ortaya çıkarmayacak şekilde. Thank God, we can still wear our colourful clothes. But they are going to hide our lines/curv...

I REGRET VOTING JONATHAN -- DON JAZZY

That my one vote added to put the current government in power is one decision i regret with all my heart. --  Those were the words of Michael Elebeli Collins, popularly known as Don Jazzy in a recent interview with talk of naija correspondent Osaremen Ehi James over the groups current stance on  Pres. Gooduck Jonathan fuel subsidy removal.   You would recollect that at the time of the April elections Pres. Goodluck Jonathan   had received massive support from people in show business especially as it would seem, from the Mohits crew (trying to be more specific) through that popular interview session where D`banj assumed to be representing the entire youths of the federation had tried asking the current president questions that obviously he himself could not understand. But in the words of the Mo hits boss, he claims that the group never received anything for their support and never asked for it, they only showed their support because they believed {He} GEJ ...

CHARLES TAYLOR RECIEVES SENTENCE FOR WAR CRIMES & CRIMES AGAINTS HUMANITY

Charles Taylor, 64, the first former head of state to be convicted of war crimes since World War II was sentenced to 50 years in prison yesterday by an international court in The Hague, Netherlands. Taylor is due to serve his sentence at a high security prison in Britain. There is no death penalty in international criminal law. The six years he spent detained during the trial will count against his term. Meanwhile, he is appealing his conviction. Dressed in a blue suit and yellow tie, Taylor sat impassively through the roughly 45minute sentencing. Hands clasped in front of his mouth and brow furrowed, Taylor shifted uneasily when the camera broadcasting proceedings settled on him. He directed his gaze downward while Presiding Judge Richard Lussick read the sentencing statement, which began with a horror cabinet of carnage committed in Sierra Leone by rebels from the Revolutionary United Front, which the former president backed. "The accused has been found responsible...
