ANOTHER KIDNAP: A GERMAN ENGINEER ABDUCTED IN KANO

A German worker, for the Dantata and Sawoe Company was kidnapped Thursday in
Kano state.

The man, whose name has not been released, was said to be cuffed and placed inside the car trunk (boot) of his kidnappers and taken to an unknown location.

A spokeswoman for the German Foreign Ministry
said officials were looking into the reports.
The man was abducted from one of the company's road building projects on a bridge on the outskirts of the city, police said.

While a search for the kidnapped has begun, there is no knowing whether the Boko Haram sect is involved in the Kidnap, the sect is however not known for kidnapping.
