FULANI HERDS MEN KILL 13, DESTROY 30 HOMES IN OVER-NIGHT RAID

An un-known group of fulani herds men on monday have been held responsible for the death of at least 13 people and loss of over 30 homes across 6 villages in Riyom Local Government area of Plateau State this week.



Many houses were burnt down in the raid that started on Monday night till yesterday morning. The herdsmen, who came in large numbers, attacked the villagers in the middle of their sleep, shooting people, using machetes and burning down houses.



The raid has been an on and off event for the past two weeks but Tuesday's attack has been termed as its most deadliest attack ever.
