Ever since I heard of the Jim Ovia ICT foundation programme, I've always wanted to attend at least so I could get a free laptop (hehehe).
The foundation aimed at improving the ICT sector by empowering the youth usually dashes out free laptops to participants(this is just the part I like, I has to say it twice) although I can't say if laptops were given freely to attendants at the end of this year's workshop on Friday, but the founder "Ovia" said that N5million in prize money and a 2GB laptop will be given to 10 participants with the best ICT ideas in terms of software creation, application designing, java and all that stuff.
He said the N5m would be used to develop such ideas into reality.
