How Do You imagine life without a phone?
It would have been very difficult without a phone, because you need to stay in touch with people, family to know what is going on, lack of communication will definitely be difficult. Phone has really helped my career in terms of people calling you to book for a show, they have to email you and you receive it on you blackberry.
How was it like during the era of Nigeria when there was no GSM?
You have to use a land line and if you are going to see somebody, you have to call them and make sure they are there before you start going. We managed then but now it’s a lot more convenient with a cell phone.
What is your ringtone currently…10/10 I guess?
Nooo… My phone is on silent most of the time, because my phone rings to many times. When i am sleeping i put it on vibrate. Ireceive a lot of calls per day that i can’t count.
What irritates you about phone manners?
I don’t like people that i don’t know calling me for unserious things, I think that’s the most annoying thing on phone, they just don’t have sensible things to say. Sometimes people call and won’t say anything and just hang up. And also people calling with unknown numbers. I don’t like it. also, many people call seeking for help on the phone, and the truth of the matter is before anybody can help you, you have to help yourself. A lot of people are looking for short-cut to help.
Any 419 experience on phone?
They come up with all kinds of crazy tricks but only a greedy person can fall into their trap.
Blackberry?
I Facebook with it, I have the maximum number of friends on my list. I can’t receive any more friends. Facebook is just a way to keep in touch with people and socialize around the network. Which is necessary in my career. And I also tweet with my blackberry. I tweet a lot and the last thing i tweeted was for people to tell me small words that have big meanings and I got a lot of response. About 44,000 people follow me on twitter and I follow less than 200 people.
