3 KILLED IN AN ATTACK OF A NORTHERN SCHOOL.

From associated press in kwara comes this report that some unknown assailants have
shot dead three officers after attacking a boarding school in northern Nigeria.
Air Commodore Sani Ahmed told journalists Friday (that's today)
that a fourth officer sustained bullet wounds during Thursday night's attack.
The gunmen targeted a school near the northern
city of Kano that is run by military officers. The attackers although did not enter the hostel housing more than 100 pupils.

Authorities are treating the case as an armed robbery because some items were stolen, Ahmed
said without elaborating.
Residents, though, fear it could have been a Boko Haram attack. The feared radical sect is
responsible for a series of attacks that have
targeted security officers in northern Nigeria.
