Millenium Üçlemesi / Millenium Trilogy

Uzun zamandır kitap tavsiyesi yapamıyordum, dimi? Aslında bu uzuun ara boyunca bir sürü kitap okudum ama en çok etkilendiğim Millenium üçlemesiydi kesinlikle.

I haven't write any book-review for a long time sadly. Actually I read lots of books but I'm going to talk about the most impressive one I read; the Millenium Trilogy.

Kitapçılarda gördüyseniz biliyorsunuzdur her biri en az 700 sayfalık üç kitaptan oluşuyor bu seri. Ama inanın maceraya o kadar kaptırıyorsunuz ki kendinizi çok farketmiyor. İlk kitabı üç günde bitirmiştim mesela ama sonuncu kitapta birazcık yavaşladım.

If you saw the books, you know that there three huge books with at least 700 pages to read. But believe me when you start to read it doesn't matter anymore. For example I read first book in three days but got slower while third book.

Tüm olaylar İsveç'te geçiyor, çok merak ettiğim bir ülke olduğu için daha da ilginç geldi bana. Söylemek zorundayım ki muhteşem bir kurgu var ve akla hayale gelmeyecek olaylar. Ayrıca aklınızda olsun kitapları öylece okumuyorsunuz, ister istemez olaya dahil olup gizemi çözmeye çalışıyorsunuz.

All the action finds place in Sweden, it was more interesting to me read because of my interest to Sweden. And I must add that there is an amazing construct and even-unimaginable acts. You just not read the book, you get in it and try to solve the mystery.

Üçlemenin yazarı aslında İsveçli bir gazeteci olan Stieg Larsson 2004 yılında ölmüş. Çok üzücü bir haber çünkü daha başka harika kitaplarını okuyabilirdik. Bir de Millenium üçlemesinin aslında bir kitabı daha var ama Stieg Larsson ölünce yarım kalmış ve bulunamamış.

The writer of the trilogy Stieg Larsson -a Swedish journalist- died in year 2004. That's awful because we could read more amazing stories. Besides Millenium series actually had one more book but it couldn't be completed.

VIOLENCE IN CROSS RIVER LEAVES 30 DEAD INCLUDING VILLAGE RULER AND 4 POLICEMEN

30 people were allegedly killed while four police officers and the village head of Ntan Obu Ukpe in Eniong in Odukpani local government area of Cross River State were beheaded in a communal clash between the Ntan Obu and the Ikpanya in Ibiono local government area of Akwa Ibom State on Tuesday. According to a local newspaper, about 2,000 indigenes of Ntan Obu were forced to take refuge in nearby communities of Odukpani council as many houses including churches were destroyed during the crisis. The Chairman of Odukpani Local council, Stephen Asuquo, while confirming the incident, told journalists that the people of Ntan Obu were attacked by the Ikpanaya neighbouring community of Akwa Ibom State, last week. "The remote cause, I can say, is the struggle by people from the Ikpanya for the land that belongs to the Ntan Obu.Ikpanya is in Ibiono council of Akwa Ibom State while Ntan Obu is in Odukpani council in Cross River State," he said. CHARLES TAYLOR RECIEVES SENTENCE FOR WAR CRIMES & CRIMES AGAINTS HUMANITY

Charles Taylor, 64, the first former head of state to be convicted of war crimes since World War II was sentenced to 50 years in prison yesterday by an international court in The Hague, Netherlands.
