Bu Yaz Ne Okuyalım?

(This post is about what to read this summer but no translation is added.)

Hep yazın oje, makyaj, moda trendlerine mi göz atıcaz? Kitap okumayı çook seven biri olarak yazın kitapsız geçmiyeceğini düşünerek en azından sahilde okumanız için birkaç kitap seçtim :) Ayrıca D&R'dan almak ya da incelemek isteyenler için linkleri ekledim.


Gülse Birsel - Yazlık
Son kitabı dışında yazmış olduğu tüm kitapları okumuş biri olarak bu kitabın çok eğlenceli olduğundan eminim. İlk fırsatta alınıp okunacak ya da sahilde okunmak üzere bir süre bekletilecek. Gülse Birsel'in geri dönmesine de pek sevindim doğrusu :)

Moda - D.Waquet & M.Laporte
Trendy kızlar trendy kitaplar okur :) Modayı sadece internetten takip etmek yerine modanın derinliklerine, geçmişine farklı bir yönden bakmak istemez misiniz?

Lezzetli Öyküler - Selgin GB
Midelerini seven kitap kurtları için "midelerini bayram ettiriyor gibi hissettiren ama aslında ruhlarını besleyen" öyküler. Denemeye değer mi? Bence evet.

B, Bira - Tom Robbins
Yazın sahilde biralar su gibi içilir. Hem çocuklar hem de yetişkinler için olan bir bira öyküsü, bence sahilde iyi gider :)

Carrie'nin gençlik zamanlarının anlatıldığı Carrie Günlükleri'nin devamı ama İngilizce. Türkçe'sini bekleyemecekler için (bunlardan biri de benim :D).

Yukarıdaki kitaplardan hiçbirini okumadım ama D&R'ın sitesinde kendi zevkime göre seçtim. Hepsi almayı planladığım kitaplar, içlerinden okuduklarınız varsa yorumlarınızı bekliyorum!! :)

CHARLES TAYLOR RECIEVES SENTENCE FOR WAR CRIMES & CRIMES AGAINTS HUMANITY

Charles Taylor, 64, the first former head of state to be convicted of war crimes since World War II was sentenced to 50 years in prison yesterday by an international court in The Hague, Netherlands. Taylor is due to serve his sentence at a high security prison in Britain. There is no death penalty in international criminal law. The six years he spent detained during the trial will count against his term. Meanwhile, he is appealing his conviction.
